A 3-year plus of Pol Pot’s full power—or so-called genocidal regime- post many question of where the gold and other treasure being kept since the market practice were notoriously forced to stop functioning in such a regime. How large of those collected treasure of Cambodian people or where those treasure being kept remains a mystery.
In fact, some which were kept and ordered by high-profiled khmer rouge such as Tamok and Pol pot were at large being discovered by Vietnamese troop. This referred to any treasure that we transported during the year 1978 and 1979.
However, any collected treasure such as jewelry, diamond and gem (abundant and at large size at that time from Pailin city of Cambodia) during year 1975 were kept by low profile khmer rouge remain undiscovered due to:
- Serial killing of those involved. Those remain from the killing can only know info when the hiders were killed. Therefore, they could only know the approximate place and find no way to recover it. A matter of techies to do land survey and scan, no people know the place, and re-source poor to dig everything.
- No written track of record, GPS for location, amount exactly being registered. Killing of witness and hiders encourage the pursuit of Khmer rouge treasure unattractive. Therefore, large of information becomes a rumor. Most cannot have accurate info and witness, and other remain at large no capable of having tech and enough resource to implement.
The latest investigation most attractive sides are in Kampong Speu province based in Oral Mount, Kampong Chnnange, Pursat, and Battambang. However, the latest stronghold of Pailin city of Anong Veng district are s not worth investigating.
If techies such as GLP, 3D, long distance identified really work, those sides shall be worth inspecting.
When having access to few verified sources (with witness) this pursuit appeals my interest where the constraint in tech and professional team. This interest is like “GOING TO SCHOOL ON SUNDAY” or “LOOKING FOR WATER IN SAHARA” but of course reverse theory and miracle may also exist.
If professional team with sufficient tech, and want to look further, there is still a room to look further.
